An year ago, when The Sims 3 first come out and I leaped into the online community for the first time, I learned what a legacy was and I realized I had been doing it in The Sims 2 in a way. Created a Sim, married townies and made my sim family grew up. However, the Legacy was different. It had rules. The golden rule of reaching generation 10 and the other rules, followed by few. Then I decided to do a Legacy. Many followed. Only one survided. The Williams. Of course, then comes EA's patch to ruin it all by uninstalling half my Store content just 'cause I got it from someone else, something they said was okay, but then they realized it was bad for their little business 'cause all the milk was in the shelves, but people weren't buying it and went to get it in other places. This pretty much ended with the Williams, even though the Save file still exist in the depths of my computer. More legacies followed. None of them prevailled. Two of them made it to the Word file, with every picture with a caption, in a storyteller way, not in the creater-mocks-creation way.
But then I realized... I don't wanna play like that. I don't want to buy a giant land plot with enough money only to buy a crappy bed, a wall, a fridge and a throne. No. My way of playing was different. My way of playing is getting my Sim, fresh out of CAS and do it my way. Not Pinstar's way, not play 'em once delete 'em after way, but making my family rise with no scores what so ever, no final goal, only play. For the sake of having fun. Of making a family tree I love. Of mixing genes to spawn sims looking like a mix of their parents, something I always loved to do. Too bad TS3 genetics suck big fat balls, but whatever, it's not the point, who gives a damn. And I love too write. I'm just too darn lazy to open a Word file and write.
So my goal for the Summer, which I just choose right now, remembering Shane Dawson's Father's Day video, is to play, take screenies, go to Word, write about my adored Sims and post it somewhere in the Internet. Sims. Writing. Sharing. Sounds like the goal of the TS3.com's Story Board, except my storys' won't be a message board floating with pregnant teens or those dreadful pre-made pictures. Also, I don't run the risk of losing all my pictures, unless TinyPic disappears in the depths of the NetOcean and I'm forced to switch to PhailBucket or unless Blogger disappears into the depths of the NetOcean too to find his lover TinyPic, just to never come back to us again. Wait, what...?
Anyhow, my point is, expect storys' about my Sims once my computer decides to read CDs' and DVDs' so that I can actually play and install things. They'll probably be drowning in mistakes, like this post most likely does too, but I'll try my best and yay for Word for correcting mistakes too. And I'll try to get control over my other video games obsessions, even though I get so bored easily by them unless they aren't slow like hell, which they are. And that's it.
So, congrats if you read it all. If you just scrolled to the bottom line, then boo, your breath smells like feet. Yeah. I went there, bitch.
Spoken like a true man! <3. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteThanks. (: Neither can I. Too bad my PC seems to be having issues with reading the games disks. It must be that time of the mounth. xP
